2008 Race Format
Qualifying: Top 16 locked into A Feature
B Dash: 4 cars 4 laps
A Dash: 4 cars 4 laps
Heat 1: Even # Qualifiers 2-16
Heat 2: Odd # Qualifiers 1-15
B Main: Top 4 move to A Feature Starting Positions 17-20
Provisional: Starting positions 21-22 will be the two highest current point standing members that did not make A Feature but must have started the B Main, 2005 points will be used for the first 2 races to determine these positions after the first 2 races 2006 current points will be used
A Feature: Invert will be drawn by fast qualifier either 8-10-12-14 or 16 car invert
Top 3 from previous race will start behind the invert unless you did not make the invert then you will start in your qualified position
2008 Point System
Show Up Points: All cars that show up at a NWOSS event will be awarded 10 show up points
Time In Points: Time in Points will be awarded by car count and dropping down by 1 point per car. Example: 25 cars fast time will be awarded 25 points down to 1 point
A Dash: 1st thru 4th will be awarded points 4-3-2-1
Heat Race Points: 1st thru 8th will be awarded points 5-4-3-2-1-1-1-1
A Feature: Winner will be awarded 50 points and will drop down 2 points per position
